Accommodation and travelConference location The conference will take place at the Bordeaux Science Agro School (BSA), Bordeaux university campus. Facilities include a large auditorium with a variety of break-out rooms available. Lunch and dinner will be served at BSA or in nearby local restaurants. BSA can be reached by public transport from the center of Bordeaux in around 30 minutes. There are a number of sports facilities, university libraries and public parks in the area. Bordeaux and Nouvelle Aquitaine area In 2007, Bordeaux was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list as “an outstanding urban and architectural ensemble” from the 18th century. The city was voted “European Best Destination” in 2015 and "World's Best City to Visit" by the Lonely Planet in 2017. Bordeaux benefits from excellent transport links, including an international airport with a number of low-cost routes, high speed rail links (2 hours from Paris) and a good road network (less than 6 hours from Paris, less than 3 hours from Spain). Bordeaux is located in the New Aquitaine Region which offers a wide range of tourism, sport and cultural activities. A list of recommended hotels will be provided by the conference organizers. It is important to note that there are fewer hotels around the university campus than in downtown Bordeaux. It is therefore advisable to book early if you wish to stay close to the University.
