Welcome to the 9th International Conference on Monitoring and Management of Visitors in Recreational and Protected Areas (MMV),
Bordeaux, France, August 28th-31st, 2018
The MMV conference provides a forum for presentations and exchanges of research, ideas and experiences related to the monitoring and management of visitors in recreational and protected areas. The emphasis is on policies, problems, practices and innovative solutions. We welcome researchers, managers, consultants, policy makers, planners, members of NGO’s and other professionals dealing with visitor management in recreational and protected areas.
The 9th MMV conference was jointly hosted by the IRSTEA Research Center in Cestas (Environment, Territory and Infrastructure Research Unit) and Bordeaux Sciences Agro.
The 9th MMV was successfully closed Friday August 31. The organizing committee would like to express our gratitude to all participants, presenters, keynote speakers and sponsors. Thank you all for making the conference a successful and memorable event.
